Protect Our Winters is a nonprofit group founded in 2007 by professional snowboarder Jeremy Jones which works to reduce the effects of global climate change by means of educational, activist and community based projects. POW engages and mobilizes the winter sports community to lead the fight against climate change.

Conservation International is a nonprofit environmental organization with the mission to protect nature, and its biodiversity, for the benefit of humanity. CI is one of the largest conservation organizations in the United States, though its field work is done primarily in other countries. Since its inception in 1987, CI has contributed to the protection of more than 260 million acres of land and sea.
